Improving adherence to treatment in Behçet’s disease
Treatment Medication Adherence means how often you take your medications as prescribed, follow suggested diets, or make other lifestyle changes that your health care provider has recommended.
When someone doesn’t follow their health care provider’s recommendations, it may lead to serious problems that affect patient’s health and wellbeing.
Improving Treatment adherence is especially important for Behçet’s patients because the disease is so rare and because of the impact that Behçet’s has on the lives of patients and their families.
For this reason, we have launched an international study called IMPACT_BD to address medication adherence in Behçet’s disease.
One of the first activities organized by IMPACT_BD is the launch of a survey aimed at finding out the main reasons and causes that may impact on adherence to treatment.
Thanks to your participation in this survey, we’ll be able to take action to improve treatment adherence for people living with Behçet’s disease.
All surveys are anonymous.
